Taking the married name Appleton marked the start of a sweet chapter in my life—one centered around my husband and our two boys. The name Core comes from that reflection: much like the core of an apple, it represents the heart, the foundation, and the center of life’s sweetest moments.

A Special Focus on Seniors

From the classroom to the camera

Capturing seniors is one of my favorite types of sessions because of my connection to how important and special this time in a senior's life is. That connection starts right inside my classroom. Being an AP teacher allows me to build genuine, trusting relationships with my students every single day.

By the time they are ready for their senior portraits, we already have a wonderful, established connection. This makes their portrait sessions incredibly natural and fun, and often opens the door to beautifully capturing their entire family’s core memories as they celebrate such a massive milestone.
